BREVITIES VAUDEVILLE AND REVUE Merry and Bright” is the i Thoxto or the Brevities, and reports from other towns confirm the fact that they live up to this motto. Wanganui theatre-goers who favour bright and breezy entertainment in which variety is the keynote are in for a real treat when Trevor and Dawn present "The Brevities” vaudeville and revue company at the Opera House to-morrow and Monday. The popularity of this type of entertainment, and of this company in particular, is being amply demonstrated in every town in which they have appeared. Trevor and Dawn, adagio dancers, need no introduction to Wanganui audiences, and they have been fortunate in securing a strong aggregation of big Tivoli acts and revue artists under the title of "The Brevities,” who present a series of scena surprises, sparkling with hilarious comedy, popular music, spectacular and acrobatic dancing, delightful singing, and comedy sketches. The acts include Ossie Cheeseman, pianoaccordionist; the Lynton Brothers, comedy and acrobatic dancers; Reggie, vest-pocket comedian; Mitzie Hayes, soubrette; Terry Mitchel, Irish tenor; Veronique, the figure eight girl, and Trevor and Dawn, adagio dancers.
