MR. W. J. JORDAN’S TOAST NEW ZEALAND FINANCES LONDON, Nov. 23. In proposing the toast of the Lord Mayor at the City Livery Club dinner, Mr. W. .1. Jordan (New Zealand High Commissioner) suggested that he should visit New Zealand. “As a fellow ot the Royal Geographical Society you know something of our country and I its earthquakes, but. we are confident I that London’s city business men have | never considered that New Zealand is financially shaky.”
