Ingram, Martin 27. v. Archer, Ellery, Walker, Stevens 18. GENERAL NEWS The Parewanui School Committee’s grand flannel dance will take place in the Town Hall, Bulls, this evening. A free bus will run from Marton. Mr Terry Mansell continues to win jumping events with his horse “Glendowie.” At Hawera last week, with his owner up, Glendowie won the champion ribbon and the silver rose bowl, and with Mrs A. W. McDonald in the saddle Ihe horse was second in the ladies' jump. The trophies won at Hawera included a silver tray and tea service, and a canteen of cutlery, as well as £lO in prize-money. Glendowie will compete at Stratford Show this week, Mr Mansell going up yesterday lo do the riding.
