TWO AIR CRASHES
AUSTRALIAN PILOTS INJURED SYDNEY, Nov. 22. A large Avro aeroplane, when landing after a joy flight at Mascot yesterday, crashed and was wrecked. The pilot, Mr. Warren Penny, aged 26, who is also a well-known radio announcer, suffered .severe head injuries. A Mrs. Kelly and a youth. Richard Jayden, suffered lacerations and severe shock. Another aeroplane, flying from Brisbane to Sydney, crashed in attempting a forced landing at Iluka, on the north coast. The machine was badly damaged. Two Brisbane pilots, Messrs. Stevens and Coster, escaped with minor injuries.
