GERMAN EX-OFFICER TEN YEARS’ DETENTION 'By Telegraph— Press Association — Copyright) Received Nov. 23, 9.55 p.m. PARIS, Nov. 22. Otto Rauft, a German ex-officer who won the Iron Cross during the war, was sentenced to ten years’ detention in a fortress for espionage. He was tried in camera. It is understood that the evidence showed that for twelve years he had collected information concerning French aeroplanes and aircraft factories, reporting on vital points which could be put out of action.
