Wil- j j son, of Bulls, has been established [ during the past season by Mahoe Titi i and Mahoe Louise, who produced 810.441 b. fat. and 8351 b. fat, respective- i ly, under C.O.R. lest. Major Wilson is to be congratulated I on the very tine and even perform- I antes of these two high-producing I matrons who both commenced and I finished their 365-day period on test I on the same day. These two cows : have a further common factor in that I they are both sired by Bainfield j Pietertje Topsy King (Prince Pief.ert.je of Bainfield Bainfield Topsy 13th). Very few breeders can claim two 8001 b. producers in their herd, especially two who made their records in the same season, while equally few sires can claim two 8001 b. daughters. The performance of the two “Mahoe” cows is therefore all the more meritorious. Mahoe Titi, whose dam is Mahoe Grace Mechthilde (Netherland Pontiac Paxton of Brookfield—Tunanui Domino Gem) was 6 years 56 days of ago at the lime of commencing her test, while Mahoe Louise, a daughter of Mahoe Mercena Lassie (Mahoe Ajax Pontiac—Mahoe Aspcrella) was 5 years 36 days of age.
