Compared with last week’s quotations, crossbred lamb, 28/361b5., l-8d per lb. higher. Weihers, under 481 b., 'd per lb. higher; 48/641b5., l-8d per lb. higher. Others unchanged. Wethers: l’s, 7’s, 4 7-Bd. to 5.1 d; 3’s, 9’s, s's, 4d to 4 5-Bd. Ewes: l’s, 7’s, 4d to 4 3-8 d; 3's, 9’s, s's, 3 5-8 d to 3 7-Sd. Ox beef: Hinds, 3 5-8 d to 3jd; fores, 25-8 d to 3id. Ewes: There is a fair demand for these. Chilled beef: Both demand and prices arc steady. Pork: The market is inclined to become firmer. Trade generally is fair.
