Boyland and H. Stokes were calld upon at the last minute to substiute for C. Stokes and L. Dromgooie, -’ho were unable to row. Henley amed the better of a good start and 1. Cumbrae Place had a lead of a canas, which at Field’s Creek was in-

creased to half a length. Here Coxon sprinted and drew level nad, rowing with perfect rhythm, slowly forged ahead to gain the decision by two lengths.
