ARAMOHO BOATING CLUB TESLA FOURS TROPHY DRAW FOR TO-DAY'S RACING The final race m the first round o he Tesla Fours contest was rowed In he Aramoho Boating Club last evenng. The contesting crews were R Joxon (str.), T. Sweet (2), H. Thomon (2), W. Coneybeer (bow), J. Macl: cox), who defeated L. Henley I Boyland (3), H. Stokes (2), J Voods (bow), R. Scobie (cox). R. Boyland and H. Stokes were calld upon at the last minute to substiute for C. Stokes and L. Dromgooie, -’ho were unable to row. Henley amed the better of a good start and 1. Cumbrae Place had a lead of a canas, which at Field’s Creek was in-
creased to half a length. Here Coxon sprinted and drew level nad, rowing with perfect rhythm, slowly forged ahead to gain the decision by two lengths. The draw for to-day is:— 2 p.m.—Firmin rows Holmes (Consolation). 2.20 p.m.—Jones lows P. Stowers (Tesla). 2.40 p.m.—J. Halligan rows W Anderson .(Consolation). 3.00 p.m.—R. Coxon rows Clarke (Tesla). 3.20 p.m.—L. Henley rows winner of Holmes v. Firmin (Consolation). 3.40 p.m.—Gurr rows winner of Jones v. Stowers (Tesla). 4.30 p.m.—Final ul Consolation 5.00 p.m.—Final ot Tesla. Members are nr tilled that they must attend at the times stated or isrfeit their race.
