BY “H ANDERING ROSE.")
(Continued from previous issue.) The fairy was dressed in a frock of sunflower petals and looked just like the sunflower its, elf. Around her golden curls was a little crown of wattle flowers. ”1 would like to go to Fairyland," Eric said timidly. "Very well,” said the Fairy. “Would vou like to go, Pamela?" "Yes please,” said Pamela, excitingly. “Follow me then," the Fairy said. She flew to a slope at the end of the lawn, while the children followed her. “You see those steps?” the Fairy asked. "We just have to walk down those.” Eric and Pamela looked and there they saw a flight of little moss steps. "But they are a lot too small for us,” Eric said. “As soon as you touch the first step you will be the same size as I am," said the Fairy. Pamela stepped on to the first step. No sooner had she touched it tha*n she found herself the
same size as the fairy friend. Eric followed her and he. too, grew smaller. They walked down the steps with the Fairy leading. Suddenly they found themselves in Fairyland! “How beautiful!” gasped Pamela. 1 and Eric stared around them in I amazement. (To be continued.)
