FURTHER APPLICATIONS TO COURT DEALT WITH SIMILARLY TO OTHERS ( Per press Association. 1 WELLINGTON, Oct. 16. The Arbitration Court has given judgment on the further application, under the Factories Act, made by factory ocupiers engaged in the printing industry. The Court takes the view that the applications are on the same footing as the 172 applications already dealt with in the industry, and an order must accordingly be made in terms of the judgment delivered on such earlier applications. Orders accordingly were made extending the hours under the Factories Act to those fixed by the respective awards now in force. Mr. A. L. Monteith, who dissented from the main judgment, made dissent from making the present order.
