Flight-Lieutenant Adam has been selected by the Air Ministry to make the next attempt to improve upon the height record set up last month by Squadron-Leader F. R. D. Swain. The attempt is to be made within the next tort night if the weather permits. He will use a pressure suit similar to that used by Swain, but Incorporating one or two improvements, including a means by which it is hoped to prevent a recurrence ot the fogging of the helmet window. He will fly the same machine with an air-cooled engine.
