MANY GREETINGS
Hundreds of telegrams and letters of congratulation have been forwarded to Miss Batten. A Press Association message from Wellington states that the GovernorGeneral (Lord Galway) has written, congratulating her on the successful termination of her flight from England to New Zealand. Wanganui's Message The following telegram was despatched yesterday by the Mayor of Wanganui (Mr W. J. Rogers): “Wanganui City Council and citizens join with me in saying, ‘Well done!’’’
