THE FEILDING SALE MARKET WAS QUIET fPer Press Association] FEILDING, Oct. 16. The market at Feilding to-day was very quiet, fat ewes being decidedly easier. Store hoggets came in for a bright sale, but the cattle sections generally were unchanged. Fat Sheep.—Ewes, best, 30s to 33s 6d; others, 20s 6d to 28s 6d; wethers, 22s 6d to 30s 6d; hoggets, prime, 345; small, 22s 7d to 275. Store Sheep.—Wether hoggets, good, 25s 2d to 27s Id; others, 19s Sd to 24s 4d; ewe hoggets, choice, 375; smaller, 28s 9d to 34s 10d; blackfaced hoggets. 23s to 255; two-tooth wethers, 18s Gd to 19s lOd. Store Cattle. —Forward cows, £2 13s to £3 17s; boners, £1 10s to £2 7s 6d, yearling heifers, £2 5s to £3 10s. Fat Cattle.—P.A. cows, £7 2s 6d to £8 2s 6d; Hereford cows, £7 to £7 17s 6d; dairy breeds, £4 5s to £6 17s 6d, P.A. heifers, £7 7s 6d to £8; P.A. bullocks, to £9 12s; steers, £6 12s; vealers, £4 14s. Dairy Cattle.—Springing heifers. 10s to £7; heifers in milk, £7 7s 6d; springing cows, £5 to £7 ss.
