VISIT TO SOUTHLAND? INVERCARGILL SUGGESTION. [Per Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Oct. 15. RepTesentations are to be made to th? New Zealand Cricket Council by the Southland Progress League for a one-day match to be played by the M.C.C. touring team in Invercargill, or at least for the team to visit Southland. It was stated by one member that the itinerary was already fixed and that a game had not even been arranged for Dunedin. Other members suggested that even if a match could not be arranged the team should visit Southland, if only from the tourist aspect of visiting such places as Milford Sound.
