INSTITUTE OF SECRETARIES MANAWATU SUB-CHAPTER At the annual general meeting of the Manawatu Sub-centre of the New Zealand Institute of Secretaries at Palmerston North last week, the fol- . lowing officers were appointed for the ensuing year: Chairman, Mr H. E. Kissling (re-elected), Palmerston North; vice-chairman, Mr A. P. Stuart, Palmerston North; secretary, Mr G. N. Hawken (re-elected), Palmerston North; committee, Messrs G. N. Boulton (Wanganui), A. Way (Marton), P. B. Desmond (Feilding), H. S. Quigley (Dannevirke), T. A. Daley, G. H. Dawick, G. C. Francis, J. B. Smillie, and A. S. Trevithick (Palmerston North). The meeting was addressed by several members of the Wellington Chapter, which proved very instructive to the members. '
