\ ERY FIRM MARKET Received Oct. 6, 10.55 p.m. SYDNEY, Oct. 6. At the wool sales, 11,933 bales were offered and 10,461 sold, also 1227 privately. There was a very firm market with all the best features of last week’s auctions again in evidence. There was strong support from Yorkshire and increased Continental competition. Greasy Merino made 211 c per lb. The average price of wool last week at Sydney was £l7 4s lid a bale, or 13.1 d per lb.
