TC STEADY SHIPS
STABILISER INVENTED CONTROL BY GYROSCOPE. LONDON, Sept. 17. A device, namely the Denny Brown stabiliser, ha; been demonstrated. It is claimed to reduce shipboard rolling and pitching and to eliminate seasickness. It consists of fins fitted on each side of the ship, controlled by a gyroscope. It is stated that there is no reason why it should not be fitted to ships of any type and size.
