Bulls and Longburn shoot at Awahuri this evening for the Manawatu senior championship final. GENERAL NEWS. Mrs. H. Wicks has returned from Sydney, where she spent an enjoyable four months’ holiday. Mr. F. Stock, who is an inmate of Wanganui Hospital, is reported to be making jteady progress towards recovery. Preparations are well in hand for the Bulls Basketball Club’s dance, to be held on Friday evening in the Town Hall. The lambing season here is now well advanced, and the percentage of twins is larger than usual. On one Parewanui farm quadruplets are said to be doing well.
