WANGANUI CUN CLL’B OPENING OF SEASON. SATURDAY'S RESULTS. The opening shoot of the Wanganu! Gun Club's 1936 season was held at the club’s grounds on Saturday afternoon, some very enjoyable sport being provided. The attendance was very satisfactory and the shooting conditions were also good. The president, Mr. T. Cuthbertson, in declaring the new season open and extended a welcome to all present, announced that October 23 and 24 had been approved as the dates when the club would be holding the Wellington Provincial Clay Championships.
