' Mind” was the subject of the les-son-sermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist, on Sunday, August 23. The golden text was Psalms 147:5, “Great is our Lord and of great power: his understanding is infinite.” Among the citations which comprised the lesson-sermon were the following from the Bible: “Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for the cold where they find it. i?ut where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding? It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof. Whence then cometh wisdom and where is th? place of understanding? God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof. And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart, from evil is understanding. (Job 218. 12, 15, 20, 23, 28.) Also the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, “Science and Health with Key to Hie Scriptures,” by Mary Baker Eddy: “The starting point of divine science is that God. Spirit, is All-in-all, and that there is no other might nor mind—that God is love, and therefore He is divine principle. Divine metaphysics, as revealed to spiritual understanding. shows clearly that all is mind, and that mind is God. omnipotence. omnipresence, omniscience—that is, all newer, all presence. all science. Hence all is in realitv the manifestation of mind.”
