BAND CONCERT
On Sunday evening in the Majestic Theatre, the Garrison Band will | present another of their popular enI tertainments. The band will play several brilliant and popular numbers, such as "Meyerbeer" (grand 'selection), a fantasia, “Students’ Songs,” by Shipley-Douglas, and a brilliant Spanish number, “Amparito Roca.” Bandsmen J. Farrell and J. Herd will be heard together in a cornet duet, “Friendly Rivals,” with band accompaniment. Mr. Chas. Leslie, who will be heard playing two whistles together, will no doubt, be a popular artist. The Wanganui Piano-Accordion Band, another very popular combination, will entertain with several of their latest numbers. Mrs. S. L. Kendall will be the accompanist.
