general news. The Taumarunui P.ugby representative team arrived in Taihape last night, and will play Taihape for the Main Trunk Cup this afternoon. Both teams will be entertained at dinner at the Gretna Hotel after the match, by the Taihape Rugby Union. Big preparations are under way for fk-r Eire Brigade Ball which will be held in the Town Hall on Thursday next. August 20.
