ARAMOHO WINNERS
PRIMARY SCHOOLS’ TOURNEY FINAL MATCHES PLAYED The final matches in the Wanganui Primary Schools’ Basketball Association tournament were played on Thursday at Queen’s Park School grounds, between Aramoho and Castlecliff Schools, winners of the astern and western divisions respectively. The games resulted in a win for Aramoho School in the senior division, and Castlecliff in the junior division. At the close of play Miss Gibson, president, introduced Mr. Liggins, who, in presenting the shields to the captains of the winning teams, congratulated the children on the standard of their play and the teachers who had carried through the arrangements for the tournament.
