THE PRIMARY SCHOOLS N.Z. TOURNAMENT WELLINGTON TEAM The following team will represent Wellington in the New Zealand primary schools’ tournament, to be held at Wanganui during the second week of the school holidays:—Newton (Marist Newtown), Murphy (Miramar South), Russ (Miramar South), Martin (Mount Cook), Lavin (Marist Thorndon), Edmunds (Seatoun), Gestro (Seatoun), Greatbatch (Mount Cook), Stewart (Lyall Bay), Alexander (Marist Thorndon), Hastings (Newtown), Watkins (Worser Stevens (Mount Cook).
SECONDARY SCHOOL ANNUAL TOURNAMENT WANGANUI BOYS FOR NAPIER. The secondary schools’ annual soccer tournament will be played at Napier on August 25 and 27. Wanganui will be represented by a senior and a junior team. . The following players have been selected to represent Wanganui:— Whiting, Joyce, Douglas Smith, Todman, Beal, G. Dickie, L. Carter, C. Carter, McDonald, Crutchley, Fowler, Cox, M. Dickie, Donald Smith, Wadsworth, Good, Benefield, Patterson, Paul, Hansen, Darby, Simpson. Kidd, Willacy, Granville, Tuflin, Hardy, Rayner.
