MEETING AT ADDINGTON N.Z. .METROPOLITAN CLUB FINAL DAY’S RESULTS. [ Per Press Association. ] CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 14. For the final day of the Metropolitan Trotting Club’s winter meeting the weather was fine and the track good. The attendance was excellent. The totalisator investments were £37,224 10s, compared with £26,061 last year. The total for the meeting was £102,435 10s. against £72,552, an increase of £29,552. The leaders maintained their positions going down 1 the back, and with- a round to cover Vesuvius and Llewellyn’s Pride were • followed by Rey Spec. Tempest, - Sunny Morn. Willow Wave, Rollo, ■ Sure, War Buoy, and De Soto. The 1 last-named made a brilliant run down the back to lead into the straight from Llewellyn’s Pride, Rollo, War t Buoy and Blue Mountain.
