WAVERLEY FOOTBALLERS’ BALL It. was a gay and happy throng that attended tne* Waverley Footballers’ Ball at the town hall on Wednesday night. The hall was effectively decorated by Mrs. Dallison, Miss Dickie, and willing helpers with rows of streamers in the club colours, black, white and gold suspended horizontally across the room. The same colour scheme was carried out in the supper room, the tables being artistically arranged with iceland poppies and spring Howers. A dainty home-made supper arranged by Mrs. Christenson ana her committee ana the excellent music supplied by McNeil’s Orchestra (New Plymouth) added to the enjoyment of the dancers and made the annual ball a most successful funcion.
