N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS. NEXT YEAR AT AUCKLAND. [ Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, Aug. 6. The New Zealand Amateur Cycling Association gave approval to-night to th- holding of the 1937 national track championships at Western Surings Stadium, Auckland, on the first Saturday in March. It was decided to recognise the record of Miss V. Baird for the women’s Auckland-to-Wellington cycle ride and forward it to the federation for approval. Mr. A. R. Thomas, president, was elected to fill the vacancy on the association's delegation to the N.Z. Olympic and British Empire Games’ Association created by the resignation of Mr. H. Amos.
