SPECIAL ORDER ACCEPTING SURRENDER AND GRANTING NEW LEASE. jytOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Wanganui City Council duly convened and held at the Council Chambers, St. Hill Street, Wanganui, on Tuesday, the 28th day of July, 1936, a resolution (intended to operate as a Special Order) was duly passed, the purport of which is as follows: To accept a surrender from Natalie Maclean of Deed of Lease dated the 31st day of January, 1922, of THAT piece of land containing 26.66 perches more or less, being part of Sections 57 and 58 on the plan of a subdivision of Blocks 31 and 32 and part of Block 24 of the Wanganui Town Belt deposited in the Deeds Registry Office at Wellington as No. 249 and being all the land comprised in Outstanding Deed of Lease Regd. No. 133564, AND to grant to the said Natalie Maclean a new lease of the said land for eight years from the Ist day of June, 1936, at the yearly rental of £6 8s containing (1) covenants and provisions for granting of renewals in perpetuity for successive periods of 21 years, (2) the same covenants, conditions and provisions mutatis mutandis as are contained in leases of the Wanganui Town Belt now granted by the Council and such other covenants, conditions and provisions as are contained in the present lease to be surrendered or are authorised by the said Act as may be agreed upon by the parties, the form of the said new lease and the covenants and provisions therein to be settled by the City Solicitor and the Lessee to pay all costs and charges incurred In the preparation and ad- • vertisement of the Special Order and in connection with the surrender of the present lease and the preparation. > execution and completion of the said new lease. AND notice is hereby further given that the above Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at a meeting of the (Jouncil to be held on Tuesday, the 25th day of August, 1936, at 7.30 o'clock p.m., at the Council Chambers aforesaid.
