For Ocean Island direct, the Bank Line's twin-screw motor-ship Olivebank, 5154 tons, Captain A. Niblock, cleared Castlecliff at midnight last right. The vessel completed discharge of her Nauru Island phosphate cargo yesterday and will be about 10 days on the return passage to the islands. The only arrival yesterday was the Canterbury Steam Shipping Company's coastal steamer Storm, 749 tons, Captain W. Williams, which arrived at 11.10 p.m. from southern Jr ports, via Picton. The steamer Dessau is scheduled to load at Galveston on August 26, completing later a' Port Arthur and New Orleans. She wil bring a full cargo of sulphur and will discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton Dunedin and Wanganui. The Dessau is expected at Auckland on or about October 7. HOMEBOATS DUE. (To Load in Roadstead). THE NORTHUMBERLAND. The Federal steamer Northumberland (11,555 tons. Captain Maltby) is now loading at South Island ports. She is expected from Port Chalmers on Monday and after loading Wanganui produce for Home sails for Auckland. from which port she is scheduled tc leave finally on August 15 for London, Avonmouth. Smith) is now due to commence loading Homewari at Napier to-day. She will now load al New Plymouth on August 12, at Wanganu from August 13 to 15, and at Wellingtor from August 16 to 18. Her final departure is unaltered: she will still leave Wellingtor on August IS for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. THE CAMBRIDGE. The Federal freighter Cambridge (10.546 tons. Captain \\ illiams) will now commence her Homeward loading at New Plymouth, She is scheduled to arrive at Wanganui on August 20 and to clear the roadstead on August 23 for Opua, Auckland. THE WANGANELLA lhe Huddart-Parker Line's 10,000-ton motor-ship Wanganella is listed to sail from Auckland on August 15 for Sydney and Melbourne. (Millward and Co.). EMPIRE STAR AT LONDON. Cabled advice as been received by the Blue Star Line that its motor-ship Empire Stai (10,800 tons) reached London at 6 p.m. on Monday. She left Auckland on July 3 for London via the Panama Canal and New York, and has made an exceptionally fast passage. THE DUNEDIN STAR. The Blue Star Line has received cabled advice that its motor-ship Dunedin Star (11,158 tons) cleared South Africa on Monday for Bluff, where she is due on August 21 to commence her Homeward loading. PROTECTED ANCHORAGE CLOSED. Notice is hereby given by the Marine Department that the protected anchorage for yachts at Bayswater, Auckland Harbour, ha.been closed.
