STUD SHEEP
SALES AT MELBOURNE HIGH PRICES FOR CORRIEDALES Received Aug. 6. 1.15 a.m. MELBOURNE, Aug. 5. Corriedales were in strong demand at the stud sheep sales to-day, a two-year-old ram bringing 320 guineas. A ram was purchased for South Africa, a market in which New Zealand has been interested for some years. Another special stud Corriedale ram brought 200 guineas. The highest price for Merino stud rams was 150 guineas, There will be an interesting sale to-morrow of New Zealand Southdown rams imported from the Rosebank stud of James Stewart, Rakaia.
