GENERAL FRANCO’S DEMAND WANTS BAY FOR MUTINOUS FLEET THREAT TO BOMB TANGIER [Cy Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright] Received July 23, 8.10 p.m. TANGIER, July 23. General Franco has sent a letter to the authorities declaring that if the mutinous fleet was not allowed to use the bay as a fuelling and provisioning base, the town would be bombed. The President of the Council ot Control agreed to discuss the situation.
