Collstar was unplaced in the Canterbury Handicap, The jockey A. Knox, who this season has rfdden 95 winners and three dead-heats, was kicked at the barrier in the First Division of the Maiden Handicap. His left leg was fractured above the ankle. It will keep him out of the saddle some weeks and preclude his securing a record of 100 winners in the season.
