GENEROUS BEQUESTS
SOUTHLAND BENEFACTOR £lOOO FOR N.Z. ALLIANCE ( I’er J'ress Association. ) INVERCARGILL, June 17. Public bequests totalling £BOOO are made, subject to a life interest, by the will of the late Mr. James Fleck, who died at Riverton on June 9. In his lifetime, Mr. Fleck also gave u great deal of money to charity, often anonymously. The institutions which will benelit by his will are as follows: Southland Presbytery for the benelit of Presbyterian Orphanages, £1000; Presbyterian Maori Mission, £500; Southland Corps of the Salvation Army, £1000; Ne>v Hebrides Island Presbyterian Mission, £500; Presbyterian Indian Mission, £1000; Presbyterian China Mission, £1000; British and Foreign Bible Society, £1000; New Zealand Alliance, £1000; Riverton and District Progressive League, £lOOO-
