FISHING VESSEL WRECKED
ACCIDENT AT HOKITIKA I Per Press Association. J HOKITIKA, June 18. The vshing vessel Taini Anani, which went to sea on Tuesday morning, broke a cranking handle in the afternoon, and the vessel lay out at sea since this morning. An attempt was made to sail over the bar but the wind fell, and the vessel drifted into the breakers washing her ashore half a mile northwards. The crew of three are safe. They had been short of food and water while on board the vessel, but are uninjured.
