PUBLIC NOTICES WANGANUI CITY r COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER ACCEPTING SURRENDERS AND GRANTING NEW LEASES. is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Wanganui City Council duly convened and held in the Council Chambers, St. Hill Street, Wanganui, on Tuesday, the second day of June, 1936, a Resolution (intended to operate as a Special Order) was duly passed, the purport of which is as follows: FIRST TO accept a Surrender from the Castlecliff Railway Company Limited of Outstanding Deed of Lease registered number 84339 affecting THAT piece of land containing 29 perches more or less being parts of Lots 4, 5, and 6 on Deeds Plan 289 and the whole of the land comprised in Leasehold Certificate of Title volume 375 folio 66 AND TO grant-to the said Company a fresh Lease of the said land for 7 years and 2 calendar months from and inclusive of the first day of April 1936 at the yearlv rental of £B/7/-. AND SECONDLY TO accept a Surrender from the Trustees in the estate of the late Nicholas Meuli of Outstanding Deed of Lease registered number 131209 affecting THAT piece of land containing 5 acres and 30 perches more or less being Lots 1,2, 3,7, 8,9, 10, .11, 12, 13 and 14 and parts of Lots 4, 5 and 6 on Deeds Plan 289 and the balance of the land comprised in Leasehold Certificate of Title volume 375 folio 67 AND TO frant to the said Trustees a fresh Lease of the said land for 5 years and 5 calendar months from and inclusive of the first day of April 1936 at the yearly rental of £BB 12s 6d SUCH fresh Leases to contain (a) covenants and provisions for granting of renewals in perpetuity for successive periods of 21 years and (b) the same covenants and conditions mutatis mutandis as are contained in Leases of lands in the vicinity now granted by the Council and such other covenants and conditions as are contained in the present Leases to be surrendered as aforesaid or are authorised by ‘‘The Municipal Corporations Act, 1933” as may be agreed upon between the parties and such other covenants and conditions as may be deemed advisable by the City Solicitor AND the form of such fresh Leases and the covenants and provisions therein to be settled by the City Solicitor AND the said Lessee Company and the said Trustees to pay jointly all costs and charges incurred in the preparation and advertisement of the Special Order and (respectively as the case may be) in connection with the respective Surrenders of the present Leases and the preparation of and the disbursements in connection with such respective fresh Leases. AND FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at a meeting of the Council to be held on Tuesday the 30th day of June 1936 at 7.30 o’clock p.m. in the above-mentioned Chambers.
