ON THE MINIATURE RANGES THE TROPHY COMPETITION The following clubs met and tired their matches in the lirst round of the Wanganui District Miniature Rifle Association’s trophy competition. The shooting in the Upokongaro-Railway match, was of a very high standaru, particularly that of thv Upokongaro Club iu registering the highest .score yet registered by a club iu this trophy competition and they are to be congratulated on so fine a performance. CITIZENS’ CLUB

HANDICAP COMPETITION On Thursday evening last the Citi zen’s Club fired a handicap competition for a sucking pig, which was very kindly donated by Mr. J. Wright, a member of the club. Mr. Wright also donated a sucking pig for another competition, which wag won by Mrs. Hally, of Cas’lecliffe. The result of the handicap competition is as follows: Score Hep. Ttl.
