Don't Drive Fast on Short Journeys Regulate your speed according to the traffic, the road, your car’s capacity and your own. Dr.ve at a speed which allows you to pull up withing the limits of your clear vision. Teach yourself to judge your speed, hilt keep an eye on the speedometer all the same. It is unwise to drive fast on a short journey. The aveiage driver needs to get keyed up to the pitch high speed demands. It is also unwise to dawdle unless you know the road is deserted. Too low a speed means relaxed vigilance.
