Loiil Sumer?, president of the M.C.C.. informed the Associated Press representative that the suggestion that he himself and other Maryletone committeempn should visit Australia for the I esis was unanimously welcomed but it was impossible to decide who should go as a host of committeemen were unable to spare (he time. Anv such visit would be of informal and purely friendly with the idea of becoming personally acquainted with the controllers of Australian cricket. It might be possible for someone to manage the three months’ trip to enable them to see some of the Tests.
