Besides resigning from his firm he had to resign from e town council where he was doing use ful work. He is being hounded fron public life.” The Daily Mail’s political correspon dent says the Budget tribunal’s report will suggest methods of ensuring closer Budget secrecy in future, including that the Chancellor’s proposals shall be communicated only to the Prime Minister instead of to the full Cabinet.
