ALBERTA GOVERNMENT
INTEREST RATES TO FALL EDMONTON, May 27. A compulsory reduction of rates on Alberta bonds, including savings certificates, to 2j per cent, which will take effect on June J, is announced by the provincial treasurer (Mr. Charles Cockroft). The reduction will save 3,000,000 dollars annually. Authority for the action is given as under the treasury Bill legislation.
