PROPOSED NEW REGULATIONS ADMINISTRATION OF ASSISTANCE [ British Official Wireless. 1 RUGBY, May 26. The Prime Minister, in the House of Commons, in reply to a question, said that ho regretted that it had not been possible to introduce new regulations for the administration of unemployment assistance in place of the revised regulations submitted to last Parliament and later withdrawn, 'lhe Government. felt it necessary to make a very exhaustive examination as to the possible effects of the change.. and he was unable to indicate the precise date when the new regulations would be presented. He did not anticipate that a final decision would now be long delayed.
