PALAIS DE DANSE
A myriad twinkling lights resembling all the colours of the rainbow, the whole suffused by tints of amber, blue, green and red, create a scene that, defies description at the ever popular Druids’ ‘Hall rendezvous. This galaxy of colour and beauty is the setting for every Palais de Danse week-end function and last Saturday night’s function was voted a tremendous success. A specially-selected programme was indulged in from S o’clock till the mid night, hour. A delightful supper reflected credit upon those responsible for its dispensation. The lucky winners of the Monte. Carlo were: Miss Dunn and Air. AVatson, Aliss Hopkinson and Air. Scott, Aliss Killalea and Air. D. Munro, Aliss Rose and Air. Shearer, Aliss Grubb and Mr. Dundon, Aliss Clark and Air. AlcKay, who were applauded by those much less fortunate. Air. Gilroy, as usual, fulfilled the duties of AI.C. in his inimitable manner.
