GRATEFUL'S HANDICAP STEEPLES TO DIAMOND CONCLUDING DAY'S RESULTS ( Per Press Association. ) HAMILTON, May 25. The Waikato Racing Club’s winter meeting concluded to-day in fine weather before a large crowd. The track was in excellent order. The totalisator handled £19,913 10-. compared with £13.094 for the “off” day last year. The total for the meeting was £46,328 lOfe, an increase of £15,783 10? over the turnover at the Te Kuiti Racing Club’s meeting at Te Rapa 12 months ago. £f'ults were as follow: — MELVILLE STEEPLES.
