DRAPERY BUSINESS SOLD
McGRUER, TAYLOR AND CO BIG INVERCARGILL DEAL [ Per Press Association ] INVERCARGILL. May 12. One of the largest deals made in Invercargill in recent years was concluded last evening when H. and J. Smith, Ltd., acquired the whole of the drapery assets of the old-established firm of MdGruer, Taylor and Company. Thit includes a very large stock, equipment, and a substantial three-storey building on the corner of Dee and Esk Streets. The property fa’ees Dee Stieet for a distance of 68 feet and Esk Street for a distance of 120 feet.
