CHARGE AGAINST DRIVER I ( Press Association. I DUN HD IN, May 11. John Francis Harris, aged 50, driver • of the car which killed Thomas J. Rogan and Charles N. Stewart on Saturday night, was charged at the Police Court this morning with being intoxi rated while in charge of a c>r causing death, and was remanded to Juno 3. la applying for bail counsel said ac cused was a farmer with two properties at Moa Flat. He was a man c-f considerable substance and there could be no doubt as to his reappearance. He added that the charge would be strenuously defended. Bail was fixed in two securities of £5OO. After a trial lasting three and a half days, William M<-Reynolds, ship’s fire man, aged 28, was found guilty in the Supreme Court to-day on a charge of negligently driving a motor-car thereby causing the deaths of Charles Bradshaw and Ernest Marston. Mcßeynolds was remanded for sentence.
