He asked if any reply had been received from the Federation. He believed ’hat if the fee f?r dual instruction was reduced to £2 10s an hour the •club membership would be double. Mr Burgess: We would need to double our membership. Mr Lethbridge tha’ it wou*d only nee I one pupil to pay the cost of the reduction. The dub would receive the benefit of more flying members. Mr J. R. Franklin said that he could nut remember the question having been discussed by the federation. Mr S. G. AVhittall suggested that the matter should be brought before the notice of the federation again Mr Lethbridge expressed tho opinion that the present fee was too high and kept prospective members from taking an active interest in flyiag Dr. K. Christie said that be had read in an English magazine that an English company was advertising tirtion at 27« 6d an hour. The charge for tuition in New Zealand, too, should be reduced. Mr Burgess said that he *ould bring the matter before the next meeting of the New Zealand Aero Cla,>.
