EGMONT—WANGANUI HUNT. Rain fell heavily throughout the afternoon, when the followers of the lEgmont—Wanganui Hunt hunted over Mr. Honeyfield’s property at Patea on Wednesday. In spite of the weather a most enjoyable afternoon was spent. Altii .gh the ground was wet the jumping was very good and the hares were plentiful so there were some very good, long, fast runs. At the conclusion of the meet, the Master, Dr. Simmons, thanked Messrs. Honeyfield Bros, and Mr. Beck for the use of their property. Owing to Air. Honeyfield’s kindness in offering his property again, the next hunt will be held next Wednesday over the same country. Among the followers were:—Dr. Simmons (Master), on Bahram, DeputyMasters, T.
