FATAL COLLISION
MOTOR-CYCLIST KILLED NEAR MARTON COLLISION AT INTERSECTION | As the result of a collision between a motor-car and a motor-cycle at the intersection of the Pukejjapa and Alakirikiri Roads near Marton yester day morning, the rider of the motorcycle Ernest Osborne, a married man. aged 45 years, of Longburn, Palmerston North, received injuries from which he died after admission io the Marton Hospital. Osborne was a eumpptitor in a motorcycle reliability trial from Palmerston North. The ear with which he collided threw ’noth the cyclist and his machine to the ground, Osborne being pinned underneath.
