Scott, opened on Thursday mo-rr.-|ing and concluded shortly after the Junie h eon adjournment yesterday Mr M. ' j G. Neal appeared for Mcßeynolds, who pleaded not guilty. The defence was that ihe collision was caused by the negligence of Bradshaw. It was 'contended tnat Mcßeynolds was forced into a po/.tion on the wrong side of the road through the action of the driver of another car accelerating as Mcßeynolds attempted to pass. Bradshaw, it was submitted, knew of the source of danger already created but nevertheless pulled out suddenly from behind another car and accelerated. The hearing was interru| tel by the adjournment. The case will be continued on Monday.
