AT OLYMPIA
ROYAD TOURNAMENT OPENS [ British Official Wireless. ] Received May 8, 5.5 p.m. RUGBY, May 7. The Duke of Y’ork, accompanied by the Duchess and Princess Elizabeth and her sister, opened the royal tournament at Olympia this afternoon. It is possible, owing to the progress of mechanisation, that this will be the last year the famous musical drive by a battery of Royal Horse Artillery will figure in the programme.
